Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Snapfit, a Chrome extension for fixed-size screenshots and screen recording. By installing or using Snapfit, you agree to them.

1. The service

Snapfit captures fixed-size screenshots and records your screen, locally in your browser. A free tier includes a monthly capture limit; Pro removes the limit.

2. Acceptable use

Use Snapfit only for lawful purposes and only on content you have the right to capture. You are responsible for what you screenshot or record and how you use it.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Payment processor. Pro is sold through Creem (creem.io), acting as Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's terms. Creem collects payment and handles applicable taxes; Snapfit never receives your card details.
• Auto-renewal. A Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel any time through your account or the Creem customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you were charged in error, contact us — refunds, where granted, are issued via Creem.
• Taxes. Prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of tax depending on your location; Creem determines and collects any tax due.

4. Accounts

Pro requires signing in with Google or Alipay so your subscription can be recognised. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity under it. See our Privacy Policy for what we store.

5. Third-party services

Snapfit depends on services we don't control — your browser and Creem. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct; your use of each is governed by its own terms.

6. Intellectual property

Your captures are yours — we claim no ownership of the screenshots or recordings you create. The Snapfit name, logo, and software are ours.

7. Disclaimers

Snapfit is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
