Snapfit is a Chrome extension for taking fixed-size screenshots and recording your screen. It is built to be private by default.

What we collect

For the core extension, nothing. The free tier needs no account, has no analytics, and sends nothing to any server. Pro is optional and adds sign-in + payment — see Pro accounts & payments below.

Your captures

Screenshots and recordings you create are generated on your own device and downloaded directly to your computer. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Local storage

Snapfit stores two small things in your browser's local extension storage: your language preference and a monthly capture counter (to enforce the free-tier limit). This data never leaves your browser.

Permissions

• activeTab — to screenshot the tab you're viewing when you ask it to.
• downloads — to save your captures to disk.
• storage — for the language and counter above.

Pro accounts & payments

Pro is optional. If you upgrade:

• Sign-in. You log in with Google or Alipay. We receive an account identifier (and, for Google, your email address), used only to recognise your subscription.
• Payments — handled by Creem. Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), acting as Merchant of Record. Creem — not Snapfit — collects and processes your payment details; your card number never touches Snapfit. Creem handles billing, invoicing, and any applicable tax. Please review Creem's privacy policy before purchasing.
• What our licence service stores. Against your account identifier: your subscription tier and status (active / cancelled / expired), validity dates, and the Creem subscription/order id (for reconciliation). No payment card data.

Contact form (this website)

If you submit the contact form on this site (e.g. a custom-work inquiry), the message and any contact detail you include are sent to our own backend at license.yank.xassistant.cc and stored there. What it's for: one thing only — so we can read your inquiry and reply to you. It is never used for marketing, profiling, or advertising, and never sold or shared; no third-party form service is involved. Email us (below) to have a submission deleted any time.
